Serving size: 1 full pizza (2-3 servings)

Prep Time: 1 hour

Oven Time: 30 minutes

Full Time: 2 hours

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup (250 ml) warm water

  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) instant yeast

  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) sugar

  • 2 cups (500 ml) all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) salt

  • olive oil

  • 1 green pepper

  • jerk chicken

  • cheese

  • pizza seasoning

INSTRUCTIONS:

Prep: Start by prepping the pizza dough. In a bowl, add warm water, instant yeast, salt and sugar. Let that sit for about 5 minutes or until you see the yeast start to activate. Next, add in the flour to the mixture by using a spoon until you start seeing a thick dough come together. Mould the dough into a ball and in a separate bowl, coat with olive oil and set it aside with a damp paper towel over top.

While your dough is rising, take this time to organize and prep your pizza toppings. Taking the green pepper, & chop into thin slices in a bowl. In another bowl, grate your cheese of choice. Lastly, take the jerk chicken & cut into short pieces. Keep in mind this is a white pizza recipe so we will be skipping on the tomato sauce.

After about 1 hour (at minimum) the pizza dough should have risen a decent amount. Set your dough on a olive oil coated pan and roll it out. Sprinkle the grated cheese on top and put in the oven at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, take your pan out and add on the green peppers and jerk chicken. Place the pan back into the oven for another 10 minutes.

After a total of 30-35 minutes it should be ready to eat. Finish off with a pizza seasoning before serving.
